The 4th running of the My Lady’s Mini Manor Leadline trot races will be before the first race at the My Lady’s Manor Steeplechase on April 12th, 2025. Races are open to riders who have not had their 7th birthday as of January 1st on well-behaved ponies at least 5 years of age. The race will be in the stretch to the wire. Ponies many trot or walk. Ponies breaking to a canter must pull up and resume trotting. No whips, blinkers, or spurs. If entries warrant, the race may be split into two divisions. There is the possibility that entries may be assigned a pony handler by US Pony Racing. Otherwise, pony handlers must be at least 16 years old. Entries should realize that this is meant to be a fun and safe experience for the rider and if entries are allowed to lead their own pony, they must allow the rider to steer and control pace, and leaders must remain next to the ponies shoulder at all times, no child should appear to be in distress. NO CANTERING. Riders in the younger division may have an assistant, but the assistant may not must the pony or attempt to make it go faster, or they may be disqualified.

Please fill out the entry form below. Entry fee is $30 ENTRIES CLOSE MONDAY, APRIL 7th at NOON, no exceptions. Overnight should be posted here by Tuesday morning and all entries will be contacted with instructions on where to parking and timing. Placing of entry will be determined by placing judges on which ponies nose crosses the line first.

DIVISION 1- For riders who have NOT had their 5th bday as of January 1st on ponies at least 5 years old that are suitable for leadline. THis division only may have a spotter in addition to the leader

DIVISION 2- For riders who have NOT had their 57h bday as of January 1st on ponies at least 5 years old that are suitable for leadline.

ALL LEADERS must be over 16 years of age. No exception. Excessive canter with result in disqualification. Prize to all participants.
