New for 2024! The Wicomico Hunt, Mt Harmon Plantation, and the Temple Gwathmey Steeplechase Foundation host a Steeplechase Clinic over the Mount Harmon Wicomico Hunt Point to Point course. Riders must provide their own mount and will learn the basics on how to participate in a timber or flat race. This clinic is built for adults, but juniors are welcome and jumping is not required. Riders may choose to only do the flat portion. This clinic aims to help particpants to aim towards participating in a Mt Harmon Wicomico Hunt Pt to Pt field master’s chase divisions at minimum. This clinic will also give participants the ability to get in front of race officials to be approved to particpate in races this spring as well.

Participants should familiarize themselves with the Maryland Steeplechase Association and Delaware Valley Pt to Pt Association rules and regulations, under which the Mt. Harmon Wicomico Hunt Pt to Pt will be governed.

Entry Fee for mounted riders is $50. Negative coggins for their mount, signed release, ASTM/SEI or better approved helmet, protective vest and neck strap/yoke are required. Juniors are required to use safety stirrups.
